In 2012, Marilyse completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Ottawa with a minor in psychology. For her installation, Here Within Elwhere, she received the sculpture prize of the university as well as the ermerging artist of the year title from the Ottawa Art Gallery. Since then, she has been pursuing her studies in visual arts education at UQÀM.



Until now, her work has been shown around campus as well as other venues and festivals downtown Ottawa. Her installations were part of Fresh Paint / New construction at Art Mûr Gallery in 2012 as well as Ailleurs, a group show curated by the artist Catherine Bolduc for Sas Gallery in 2013.
